Yummy brunch

George's office Christmas party was on Sunday at a very nice restaurant in Waterloo. They did a brunch again this year, so they could make it a family event. Unfortunately Blake woke up with a fever on Sunday morning (at 5:00 am!!), so I was the designated parent and stayed home with him while George went with Faith the brunch.

Now, last year's brunch had gummy worms, which very much impressed Faith, so we weren't sure if that could be topped. But, when she got home, she took great delight in telling me that the "napkins were tall on the plates" and there were "stick things" on the table. Then she declared that "it was better than McDonalds". High praise indeed from a 6 year old.
