I'm picking and choosing a few of the early October photos from my vacation to blog about. This is one of my favourites from England. The view is of Conistan Water in the Lake District and we'd just spent about 15 minutes or so travelling this very narrow and slightly scary road to get here (which is Brantwood, John Ruskin's home). This is the view that met us, and is in the dictionary next to "breathtaking".
